Due to a change in schedule, a selection of images from Richard Petit's Cheap Land series are now on display at the gallery until the launch of the 2027 season.
“Neither an environmental pamphlet nor a glorification of the reign of machines, but perhaps both at once. I wish to create secular icons, where the sacred would be conspicuous by its absence.
Is simply being in the face of the world already a mystical experience? I hope that the visitor, confronted with the large format, will feel the same vertigo as I do, noting the proximity of the banal and the sublime.”

You have likely already seen Cheap Land at the Voies Off gallery, or at one of the many exhibitions of this project. If so, you will most certainly want to see these images again, which can rightfully be called contemporary classics.
If you have never seen them, don't miss out! You can meet the artist on Saturday, September 12, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm, or at any time by appointment. The images will stay on display until the opening of 2027 season, next spring.
